Q. Are any of your characters based on real people?
A. Yes and no. Some characters are exaggerated versions myself, my boyfriend, friends and family. Others are based on personifications of things that irk or entrigue me, people I like in the media or my imagination.

Q. Why the name "Bon Mot Boulevard"? What does "Bon Mot" mean?
A. Because "Purple" didn't sound right, "Politically Correct" I think is officially taken, the other name I had for it I forgot and nothing in the dictionary sounded better. "Bon Mot" (pronounced 'Bon Mo') literally means "a good word". It also means "witty, sarcastic remark".

Q. How did you come up with the names of your characters, like Plus?
A. Some are names I picked that I felt suited the characters. Others are taken from people I know though that character may not be based on them. One was taken from this random mom calling out to her child in the parking lot of Giant Food Store. "Plus" is Plus' DJ name. He just gets called it regularly as if it's his real name. It was picked at random. His real name is known by only four people at the moment, including the person he's based off of.

Q. Are you really a black Republican? Have you always been black Republican?
A. Yes. According to my mom, yes. I've fully known myself since my freshman year in college. I do, however, lean Constitution also. And just for the record, my family are all Democrats.
